Typically, the most likely National Emergency Risk the Cook Islands have to mitigate and prepare for, would be cyclones,  but it is important not to become complacent.

 

Our Humanitarian Program takes a proactive approach, recruiting and training volunteers alongside community responders (the Punas), in Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights, First Aid and basic counselling in order to better serve our people in times of crisis.
